When I would get drug tested I would sometimes have the "observer" turn on the faucets so I could feel the urge. It's never easy to whiz when someone is staring at your junk... Reno update: Faucets are in and plumbing is hooked up. Project reno is nearly complete! Oh, and I forgot to post these pics of the tile last week when it came on Thursday. ...

Have you ever rolled out of bed and went directly into the wrong state of mind? You start thinking about everything that 'isn't' rather than everything that 'is'. You start picking on yourself and making sure that you turn all your thoughts and ideas into an instant negative. You start kicking yourself and focusing on missed opportunities. This morning I got up and I was self-destructive. Oh boy! I think I jinxed myself yesterday. The cabinets didn't come in on the truck as scheduled. It appears that there has been a delay of some sort. Kristin is putting her best investigating skills into action. Shiza! So, I reiterate, you need to have patience during a renovation! Remember when I did hardwood in my last place 2 years ago and the stress that was causing me? Renovation

I am in the midst of a GIANT renovation and restyling of my new place. Before and after pics are to come, but here is the chaos that exists right now... I did the second coat on the kitchen this morning. Looks good, right?! I got the news that I am being inducted into Canada's Sports Hall Of Fame about a month ago, but I had to keep it a secret. It was hard. When I phoned to tell my mom on the morning it got released, I think she thought that Kristin and I were having a baby because the conversation went something like this: Kyle: "Hey Mom. How's it going?" Mom: "Good Honey. How are you?" Kyle: "I'm fine. Thanks.
